Binocular vision is the ability of the two eyes to work together as a coordinated team to capture an image to send to the brain. This skill is responsible for depth perception and three-dimensional vision.
Deficient binocular skills very often result in discomfort or redness of the eyes, headaches, double or blurred vision, or fatigue. The excess effort expended in coordinating the eyes may interfere with the ability to comprehend reading material.
